This year's festival, which runs from Friday, May 22 through Monday, May 25 at the Stephen Foster State Folk Culture Center, White Springs, is no exception. Folklife to be highlighted this year will include the maritime activities of the Big Bend and West Florida, and the traditions of the Czechoslovakians of Masaryktown.
Programs are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday and will continue through midnight those days. Monday's program will run from 10 a.m. through 4 p.m. Admission to the festival is $4 per day for a adults; children through age 15 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult; otherwise, there will be a $1 charge for children through age 15.
