Ross-Ade Stadium Updates and Reminders for 2024 Season - Purdue Boilermakers (2024)

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. –The second seasonof the Ryan Walters erafor Purdue Football is here, with the 2024 team set to kick things off at home against Indiana State on Saturday, Aug. 31. After celebrating Ross-Ade Stadium's 100th season a year ago,Purdue Athletics has continued to upgrade the historic home of the Boilermakers. Fans should be aware of a few updates and reminders of new things they can expect to see on game days this fall.

ROSS-ADE STADIUM NOW A SENSORY INCLUSIVE VENUE

In conjunction with Wabash Center, Purdue Athletics announced a partnership with KultureCity to make Ross-Ade Stadium a sensory inclusive environment.

KultureCity's Sensory Inclusive program is designed to create a more welcoming experience for guests with sensory needs due to PTSD, autism, dementia, strokes and other similar conditions that affect roughly one in four individuals.

Fans may now check out sensory bags, fidget tools, noise-canceling headphones, verbal cue cards and strobe reduction glasses. Additionally, Purdue Athletics game day employees have been trained and certified to best accommodate those with sensory needs.

For individuals who experience sensory overload, hassle-free quiet zones will be located inside first aid rooms near Gates EE and GG/sections 112 and 119. Sensory bags will be available for check-out at Guest Services, located near sections 107 and 120 on the concourse. Such areas will be marked by overhead signage throughout the stadium.

Prior to attending a Purdue football game, fans can download the free KultureCity App (Apple / Android) where one can view which sensory features are available and where they can access them.

TEAM STORE INFORMATION

You'll find various merchandise standspositioned along the concourse,along with anexterior merchandise location. Permanent team stores are located at 714 Northwestern Ave, and inside the Stewart Center.

Team store locations and hours:
Main Stadium Location (Northeast side of stadium)- 6 hours prior to kickoff, but not earlier than 9 AM
Slayter Trailer- 6 hours prior to kickoff, but not earlier than 9 AM
Boilermaker Crossing Trailer- 3 hours prior to kickoff
Pavilion- 2 hours prior to kickoff
In-Venue- Open when gates open

STUDENT TICKET ENTRANCES

Designated entry points for student tickets are limited to gatesA and B ONLY. All other gates are restricted from student ticket access. Upon arrival at Gate A or B, students will receive a wristband thatallows them access to the student section. Any student without a wristband willbe removed from the student section.

Please note: should students fail to enter Ross-Ade Stadium through Gate A or B, they will be ineligible to receive a wristband and will not be granted access tothe student section.

ADA ENTRANCE

With the addition of an elevator in the south side of the stadium, Gate A is now designated for general public ADA access and student access ONLY.

As of last season, Gates A & B are the designated student entry gates. Gate A also grants access to fans with ADA needs, where they may access the newly installed elevator.

DOWNLOAD YOUR TICKETS

Same as in recent years, Purdue Athletics provides DIGITAL TICKETS ONLY for all home events. If fans wish to print their digital tickets, they may have them printed for $40 each at the Hayes Family Athletics Ticket Office on the east side of Mackey Arena.

Save your tickets to your phone's digital wallet beforeheading to the game to ensure they are ready to be scannedprior to reaching the gate!

NEW LOCATION FOR GUEST SERVICES

The Guest Services booth has been relocated to the eastern concourse nearSection 107. Guest Services will now be integrated with KultureCity features, where fans with sensory needs may check out sensory bags and other items to improve their game day experience.

PREMIUM SEATING CHILD PASSES

Premium Seating ticket holders' childrenaged 2 and under are free to enterutilizing a complementary child pass. Children aged 3-5 require a $70-per-game child pass.

New for the 2025 football season:All child passes are now digital and must be acquired prior to game day by contacting your Boilermaker Athletics Representative or calling the Hayes Family Athletics Ticket Office at765.494.3194

SEAT BACKS

Seat backs purchased for the season will be pre-installed. Season-long seat backsare no longer for sale.

Single game seat backs are $15 and available for purchase online, while supplies last. Customers who purchase single game seat backs can pick these up within 90 minutes of kickoff at the booth located near gate F. Clickhereto purchase a single game seat back.

NURSING POD

A nursing podprovided by Riley Children's Hospital will be located on the concourse of the west side of Ross-Ade Stadium, near Section 126. Family restrooms are located by Sections 102, 108, 111, 119, 125, and at each first aid location near Gates EE and GG. Nursing can also be handled in either of the two first aid rooms at Gates EE and GG. There is also a first aid room in the pavilion on the third floor of the Shively Club.

8 Hours Prior to Kickoff, or No Earlier Than 8 a.m. - Parking Lots Open
3 Hours Prior to Kickoff- Boilermaker Crossing Opens

Watch the Boilermaker Special enter the stadium through itsdedicated entrance in the north plaza! Fans can get a close-up look at the Boilermaker Special and watch it make its way toThe Station! This experience will happen 45 minutes prior to kickoff between section 111 and 113.

5 Minutes Prior to Kickoff- Purdue Football takes the field!
The PurdueFootball Team enters the stadium through the Tiller Tunnel located in the northeast corner of the stadium. Be sure to make it to your seats in time to cheer on the Boilermakers as they take the field!
